Ice Fishing Tips:
• Perch - Fish near bottom to 30 feet deep; Try small marabou, twister, or jig in yellow or chartreuse, tip with maggot or fish bait.
• Kokanee - Fish 20-30 feet deep; Try red Swedish Pimple and / or glo hook with maggots or fish tip. Try flasher, late season generally better.
• Lake Trout - Fish deeper water; Try 1/4 to 3/4 oz. Leadhead jig with white, chartreuse, or yellow 3-4 inch twister body, tip with fish.
• Rainbow, Inland Redband Rainbow, Westslope Cutthroat, Yellowstone Cutthroat, Eastern Brook Trout and Hybrids- Fish in relatively deep water near bottom. Try colorful jigs with tips of worms, maggots, eggs, or fish.
